It was a year ago today!

It's exactly a year since the official publication of The White Rajah. Perhaps I should bake a cake?

I guess we're never going to be a best-seller but people have bought it and it continues to sell, slowly but steadily. JMS Books liked it and a sequel is with them now. I'm hoping it will be published next Spring.

Many thanks to everyone who's bought a copy and special thanks to all those who've reviewed it or written directly to me with kind comments.

Autumn

Having blogged some winter photos from years ago, I thought I'd share some pictures of the leaves as they are now. All these were taken in St Margarets. I'm very lucky to live there.

Shopping Days to Christmas

With internet shopping and seven day opening, I reckon there's still 40 shopping days to Christmas. But it is coming up very fast.

Can I suggest that books always make nice gifts? Obviously I'd love it if you bought your dear ones copies of 'The White Rajah' but any books are better than none. If you do want to buy 'The White Rajah' UK readers can find details of the cheapest places to get it by clicking here.

Something completely different...

I've mentioned our local magazine here before, because they are very supportive of local writers. It turns out that they are quite supportive of local photographers, too. They asked if anyone had a picture suitable for the cover of the Winter edition of the magazine and it looks like they're going to use mine. I'm not posting it here because I don't want to put it up before it's been published, but it's one of several pictures that I took when there was heavy snow three years ago. Here's some others that were taken at the same time. They're not suitable for a magazine cover because they're in landscape format, but I thought it would be nice to share. I hope you like them.
